Video – Why Detoxification Practices are Crucial for Healthy Aging

Dr. Kathleen Perry:

Hey! It’s Dr. Perry. So, if you want to age well, here’s what you need to know. You have GOT to address detoxification. The longer you’ve been on planet earth, the more exposure you’ve had to toxins. It is not a question, for any human being, as to whether or not they have toxins in their body or not, because you do. They’re stored in your fat cells, the longer you’ve been alive, the odds are your toxic burden is higher. So that means you have to address detoxification. Now, obviously one thing you can do is try to limit your exposure. So something really really good you can do is, it’s just a great investment, it’s going to cost you a little bit more at the grocery store, but buy organic whenever you can. That’s one way to limit your exposure. So I want to continue, as I have up to this point, I want to continue to provide you with tips on health and I’m going to be incorporating a lot of tips on detoxification. Many of those things are going to be things you can do at home, some of them will be protocols that are sort of cutting edge that you may require a practitioner to work with to do. Just this morning I dug out an oldie but goodie, well not that old, this book was published by Dr. Sherry Rogers in 2002, and I was skimming through it and I am going to be sharing some of the amazing tips that she has in there that still apply today and some new ones so that you can incorporate detoxification into your healthy aging protocol. If you have a question about maybe a specific type of detox that you’ve heard about and you’d like to know my opinion on it, whether it’s good or bad or indifferent, please feel free to reach out to me and I would be happy to answer your question about detoxification personally.
